World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. official website come with cosmetic effects and others provide additional features. There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can increase your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other gear. This can help increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the performance of certain weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, for example, additional damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases the armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades offer a small increase to an item's defense base or strength. Some upgrade components, however could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will create an unpredictable effect on the trinket, either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you first made it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a small amount.
